Keyword Search Tips
1 word When one keyword is used, the search will return all jobs that contain that keyword.
2+ words When more than one keyword is used, the search will return all jobs that contain all OR some of the keywords. Jobs that have all keywords are rated higher. For example:
investment banking
Will return jobs that contain investment or banking. Jobs with both investment and banking are rated higher.
" A phrase that is enclosed in double quotes will return only those jobs that have that exact phrase in them. For example:
"investment banking"
Will return jobs with the phrase investment banking.
"investment banking" analyst
Will return jobs with the phrase investment banking, the word analyst, and jobs with both the phrase and the word.
+ A leading + sign before a word indicates the word MUST be present in the job. For example:
+investment banking
Will return jobs with the word investment in them. The word banking is optional.
+investment +banking
Will return only jobs with both of those words in them (in any order).
+"investment banking" analyst
Will return jobs with the phrase investment banking. The word analyst is optional.
- A leading - sign before a word indicates the word MUST NOT be present in the job. For example:
"investment banking" -analyst
Will return jobs with the phrase investment banking as long as the job does not also have the word analyst.
* A trailing * indicates a wildcard. The search will return all results that complete the word. For example:
bank*
Will return jobs with words like banker, banking, bank, etc.
