In the role of Supervisory Auditor (YA-0511-3/3) you will use your mastery of advanced auditing principles, standards and practices in the audit profession to provide a full range of services for planning and management of audits that involve intelligence mission areas including:
• Direction and control of survey and audit verification phases including performing research, survey planning and assistance in programming; preparing complete and acceptable debrief packages at the end of audit surveys and execution phases.
• Supervision of operations and Auditors in the execution of annual audit plan objectives.
• Ensuring that audits are conducted to satisfy objectives and in accordance with generally accepted government audition standards (GAGAS), Office of Deputy Inspector General for Auditing (ODIG-AUD) policies and/or GAO auditing standards.
• Preparing and staffing draft and final audit reports and/or draft and final summary and/or trend reports.

Candidates will be evaluated on the level and quality of their experience and possession of the relevant competencies. Basic qualification requirements include an accounting or related college degree, CPA, or Certified Internal Auditor certification. (Equivalent work experience will be accepted with required education and experience components of 24 semester hours related to accounting and/or auditing). Applicants must also have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level or band in the Federal service and be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
