To provide dedicated support to the fast growing loan secondary and origination businesses for our client & their affiliates. The person would be asked to play a significant role in the implementation of Wall Street Office and assume functions currently done in the fund control and operations areas. This extends to coupon posting, interest adjustments, PIK calculations, fees, and assistance with pricing. This would be in addition to the management and processing of settlement and transfer documentation. Energetic, flexible, strong attention to detail and demonstrated capability to be proactive Proven ability to work both independently and in multi-disciplinary teams toward specific objectives Proven ability to work with focus and effect under time and other constraints Individual must have the interpersonal skills, maturity and self-confidence to represent client both internally and externally (i.e. clients and regulators) Minimum requirements: Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Operations with strong academic performance record 3-5 years experience background in bank debt, including distressed securities. Familiarity with both loan origination and secondary markets required. Exposure to various hedge funds strategies a plus. Proficient in Microsoft office application with emphasis on MS Excel. MS Access or visual basic knowledge highly desirable, but not required. Familiarity with hedge fund accounting systems a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills
