Help Object Systems Group, Inc. be a leader in the Technology industry by acting as the Controller who maximizes return on financial assets; guides financial decisions; protects assets; monitors, confirms, and reports financial condition; maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash; prepares and manages budgets; complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements; manages staff.
We are looking for a Controller, with growth potential to CFO.
CPA with QuickBooks Pro experience.
Experience working with financial statements.
Cash management experience working with fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
Microsoft Office - especially Excel and Word.
Manage banking relationships, insurance for general liability and workers compensation.
Manage annual audits and tax return preparation with outside audit firm.
Preparation of sales and use tax returns.
Exposure to payroll, payroll taxes, employee benefits including section 125 insurance and 401k plans.
Qualifications

Expert at developing and implementing audit plans, evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems, as well as designing and implementing new control systems and best practices.

Expertise in the use of corporate financial and accounting systems, implementation of corporate financial practices, and the ability to analyze financial and operating information for management to facilitate decision-making.

Expert at setting and accomplishing financial goals, maintaining budgets and cost effectiveness, interpreting financial reports, and recommending appropriate corrective actions.

Expertise in using Excel, Lotus, Access, SQL, SAP, or other applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information.
*
Easily analyzes and prioritizes information, distilling it to the critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions.
*
Skilled at summarizing and analyzing information for budgeting revenues and expenses.
*
Skilled at analyzing causes of variances between actual and budgeted income and expenses.
*
Completes performance appraisals, gives feedback, develops employees.
*
Develops departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.
*
Manages processes to monitor and to maximize performance.
*
BS or equivalent experience.
*
CPA required
