Base Compensation
$ 75,000 to 140,000
Specific Job Location
Delray Beach, FL (Boca Raton area/SE FL)

Postion Summary
This position is responsible for all technical finance and control matters related to inventory initiatives including accounting, accuracy and control of inventory exceeding $1B in value. Serve as the functional representative for major finance related inventory initiatives including accounting, reporting and analysis. Guide the department to organize and improve efficiencies and controls in inventory accounting, both financially and operationally. The position will take a leadership role in the facilitation of cross-functional communication and conflict resolution relating to inventory. The incumbent will oversee the annual physical inventory and analysis of production costs and related process improvements, as well as, oversee and recommended process improvements to the monthly inventory close cycle. This position will manage over 1200 inventory locations, 7 inventory systems, and will manage a 3rd party inventory management group.

Required Skills
Retail Inventory Accounting Management Experience Required. CPA not required, but desired. Outstanding systems knowledge & PC skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint. PeopleSoft, Oracle and Access are a plus. Worked with systems implementation previously. Appropriate understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting principles, inventory and distribution process flows, revenue recognition. 7+ years Supervisory/Management experience required.
