Responsibilities:
This position is a dedicated resource who is an expert in the firm's financial information management systems. In this job you will be sharing responsibility for engagement economics to mimimalize efforts associated with engagement information management. Specific duties and responsibilities include: providing internal reporting, analysis and consultation, establishing and maintaining client/engagement records, monitoring engagement economics and providing guidance to the engagement teams on how to maximize the project profitability; mentoring/training of support staff person.

Provide a ready resource for financial data and analysis.
Develop client economic measures and develop planned engagement measures (i.e., realization, profitability, etc.) and monitor economic outcomes of these engagements.
Develop and monitors possible economic outcomes of specific engagements – reviewing actual results against planned measures and reporting on variances.
Conduct an on-going financial review, including analyzing project time and expense charges, completing any corrections and challenging engagement settings and reserve balances.
Monitor client invoicing and collections and proactively encourage charging the clients for 'out-of-scope' work.
Exhibit an attitude of ownership and management to assigned book of business
Influencing successful financial management techniques (e.g. use of EPTool; effect of billing schedules on revenue days; review of budgets).
Provide training to other finance personnel on the use of the engagement information management systems.
Perform analysis of inventory balances, monitor inventory levels and report large aged balances while proactively recommending and implementing an inventory solution.
Review reserve levels to ensure that they are adequate and identify potential problems.
Work with others throughout the client acceptance process and ensure that client and engagement records contain accurate and up to date information.
Special Projects/Ad hoc requests as assigned.
Gather and interpret data and provide analysis upon request.

Requirements:
4 year bachelor’s degree in accounting or a finance / business related major
2-5 years work experience in a professional atmosphere in a financial / business capacity
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Have proven leadership skills and ability to influence and persuade others
Demonstrate strong delegation skills
Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions
Demonstrate a fine attention to detail while being analytically oriented
Have the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
Understand the impact of engagement level financial adjustments on the financial statements of the sub-area
