 Residential Mortgage Solution, LLC (RMS) is a leading acquirer of residential mortgage assets and a specialty finance company provides custom-built, innovative financing solutions to the mortgage industry.

Residential Mortgage Solution seeks a full time Senior Financial Analyst.

The primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct research, perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports (i.e. financial forecast, profit and loss analysis, IRR analysis)
• Gather and validate data in financial modeling and back test the model outputs
• Track product line profitability and business performance and seek opportunities to improve the business through improved processes and methodologies
• Assist in creation and maintenance of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis procedures; identify new/revised procedures necessary to respond to changes in a timely and effective manner
• Work on ad-hoc projects that require considerable judgment and initiative in resolving problems, making decisions and providing recommendations


A successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree
• ?3+ years of financial analysis experience, including experience with financial statements and basic accounting principles
• Strong spreadsheet skills (MS Excel); MS Access or Visual Basic is a plus
• Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Able to prioritize goals and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Capable of leading initiatives and working independently while collaborating as a team member
• mortgage industry experience is a big plus
