The firm is looking for a financial analyst to work on merger and acquisition transactions in a variety of industries. The analyst’s primary responsibility is to support the firm’s senior professionals as a key member of client-transaction teams. Duties include financial statement analysis, industry research, publicly-traded comparable company analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of materials for client-related presentations. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for preparing and coordinating selected marketing activities. Travel associated with this position will be minimal. Prior investment banking (or related) experience is preferred (full-time or internship).

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
Proven academic achievement
Strong analytical background
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiarity with capital market database Capital IQ is a plus
Financial modeling skills, including discounted cash flow analyses and comparable company analyses
Strong research and writing skills with ability to express ideas in an organized and articulate manner
Self-motivated with demonstrated organizational and time management skills to efficiently complete tasks and projects in a timely manner
